The Penang Island Jazz Festival celebrated its 5th Edition from the 4th – 7th of December 2008 with a number of musical activities and what a celebration it was!

The Festival Atmosphere was Great and The Music – Fantastic!

Over the four day period, the Festival saw a great turnout in all its activities - from the “An Evening With” Performance to the “Jazz With A Heart Charity Dinner” to its 2 Fringe Stages, Workshops and Main Stage.

Presented By Mercedes-Benz Malaysia with Partners, Astro, Red FM, Bayview Beach Resort and Supported By G Hotel, Starbucks Coffee, Häagen-Dazs , Heineken, Areca Center of Performing Arts, Goethe-Institut Kuala Lumpur, Alliance Francaise de Penang, Tropical Spice Garden, JS Music, Roland Asia Pacific, The Guitar Store, Little Penang Street, Danai Spa and Penang Cultural Festival, the Penang Island Jazz Festival 2008 is also Endorsed and Supported by Penang Tourism Action Council and the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia.

The Festival saw the participation of more than 80 performers from 9 countries in all its activities and over 4,000 audience attendance from all walks of life from all over Malaysia and around the Region.

This Year’s 6th Edition of The Festival will be held from the 3rd - 6th of December 2009. See You There!
